Hi, I'm Brooke Elward, the photographer behind Be Photographed!

As a self-taught photographer, I specialize in capturing the genuine moments that tell your unique story. I shoot with duel cameras (Canon R6 and 6D Mark II) to bring out the best in every shot.

My photography journey began in college, where I was hired by Saginaw Valley State University’s Communications Department and The Valley Vanguard newspaper. Over the years, I've found my passion in portrait photography, blending both posed and candid moments to create timeless memories.

I focus on weddings, proposals, maternity sessions, and everything in between, helping couples feel at ease while documenting their most important milestones. As a bride myself, I truly understand the planning process and the emotions that come with your special day. I’m here to guide you through every moment, from the first look to the last dance.
